POSITION LOCATION:  San Antonio, Texas

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited College or University in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Two years of experience working in the Java programming language environment
• rior experience in software development involving applications which are based on a commercial relational database (Oracle, SQL-Server, MySQL) is preferred
• Experience in the production of technical specifications and systems documentation is preferred
• Experience using standard software development procedures and the software development life cycle is assumed

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Code and Test J2EE compliant facilities management product code using the corporate Java Server Faces (JSF) framework.
2. Assist in the products technical design
3. Performs maintenance of software specifications and technical documentation for developed code.

DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT & PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Successful applicants for this position will work as part of a team which is responsible for the development of a commercial software application, which is used, by large public sector organizations, to manage their facilities and assets.  The application is based on industry standards and is application server (e.g. Tomcat) and database independent (e.g. MySQL).
