Senior PHP MySQL LAMP Programmer with Linux or UNIX Experience
Duties: MySQL/PHP Programmer + UNIX Server Tuning and Application Maintenance
Experience Requirements: You must have played key role in successful, profitable organization in a programming capacity for at least two years.
Experience Preferred: Worked for an e-retailer in a programming or marketing role, management or project lead experience, contributed to or developed open source applications, four year degree in related field preferred but not required.
Expert Coding Knowledge Requirement: PHP, MySQL, AJAX and Web 2.0 Development Techniques, XML, Javascript.
Coding Knowledge Preferred: VB, C++, Perl, HTML, CSS, Java, Tomcat.
Required Skill Sets: Strong Verbal Communicator, Strong Writing and Documentation Skills, Web Application Development on a LAMP Platform, MySQL Database Design, Tuning and Replication, Securing and “Hardening” Servers, Maintaining Security Patches Load Testing.
Day To Day Duties: Create Stand Alone Web Applications, Translate User and Management Reported Work Flow Problems Into Additions and Upgrades to Existing Applications, Troubleshoot User Reported Errors, Find and Correct Bugs and Work Flow Errors In Code Base.
