Solution Developer
Avanade's South Region is currently hiring Solution Developers. You must be willing to travel extensively within this region of the United States.
As a Solution Developer, you will be a consultant focusing on developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions. You will build management, technical and planning skills by participating in large projects and interacting with customers. You will be responsible for the following:
- Contributing to the programming of new applications
- Consulting with Avanade’s Fortune 500 customers
- Executing test scripts and document the results
- Supporting, maintaining and administering deployed solutions
You will participate in Avanade IGNITION – Solution Developer .NET Training:
Ignition will introduce you to a real world simulated environment in which you will meet with a customer, determine the customer needs and provide a .NET solution for that customer.
You will launch a successful career with Avanade by gaining:
- Hands-on practice with the Microsoft Toolset, C# and the .NET Framework 2.0, Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and ASP.NET 2.0
- Professional consulting skills

Minimum Requirements
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced technology environment
- Knowledge in programming and support in the following:
- ASP / ASP.NET
- C++, C# , Visual Basic .NET
- Database SQL (Query Language)
- HTML, Commerce Server
- Knowledge in one of the following development methodologies:
- Object Oriented Development
- Component based development
- Patterns
- Design for reuse
- Willingness to travel up to 80%
- Strong customer service skills
