Job Description :

Summary: Located near U of H Main Campus, Hoerbiger America Rings and Packing has an immediate opening for a student with programming skills for the 2008 Spring Semester. This opportunity will provide experience to own a software project start to finish in a corporate environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Recommend software tools given user requirements.

- Create the software design.

- Write and verify/validate code.

- Ensure that software is completed according to user specifications and project schedule.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Experience programming with Visual Basic

Experience with client-server database applications
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
Knowledge of Windows Operating System
Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition software and or graphics analysis

Knowledge of proper software development practices
