In this thesis, we present a prototype software that allows the visualization of a dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) bilayer structure in different levels of detail. Our objective is to visualize the exact bilayer structures of DPPC in different time phases in order to increase our understanding concerning their dynamic behavior. The user is able to visualize either all the sites associated with a DPPC molecule or to abstract each molecule using an ellipsoid. A user-friendly interface allows the visualization of information associated with each
molecule (such as electrostatic charges) at either the site or the ellipsoid level.
