Two PhD students from the Computational Physiology Lab under the supervision of Dr. Ioannis Pavlidis won first prizes  in the Poster Research Competition sponsored by the National Center for Human Performance. Students involved in research related to human performance were invitied to enter a poster that summarizied their research project. Four students were awarded certificates and cash prizes for their work.

Avinash Wesley came in 1st with a poster devoted on the Stress research (Avinash Wesley, P. Tsiamytzis, D. Shastri, B. Bass, & I. Pavlidis. "Fast by Nature - How Stress Patterns Define Human Experience and Performance").

Yuichi Fujiki came in 4th with a poster devoted to innovative mobile computing research he worked on (Yuichi Fujiki, P. Buddharaju, I. Pavlidis, E. Akleman. "A Novel Way to Conduct Human Studies and Do Some Good").
