Ms. Wei Ding, a COSC PhD student working with Dr. Christoph F. Eick, will present her research in Spatial Data Mining at the PhD forum at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference in Orlando, FL October 17-20. It is the largest technical conference for women in computing presented by Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology and the Association for Computing Machinery. The goal of the PhD forum is to highlight the research of women in the last stages of their PhD studies in computer science and engineering (within one year of completing the PhD degree). This year, 12 women PhD students, selected nation wide, will present at the conference.
