The DoD/NSF-supported Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program on Computational Science and Cybersecurity at UH begins on May 29, 2007. This is a 10-week program during which undergraduates from all over the US participate in a paid, intensive research program mentored by UHCS faculty. The mentors are Drs. S. Huang, I. Kakadiaris, E. Leiss, I. Pavlidis, and R. Verma. Drs. Leiss and Verma are the co-directors of the Summer 2007 REU program. More information regarding the program can be found at www.cs.uh.edu/reu.
