CS graduate student will be a visiting researcher at the Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory
- One of our graduate students, Van Bui, will be a visiting researcher at the Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory during the Spring term to collaborate with researchers there on the PxP project . The PxP project seeks to address the challenges of developing adaptive software tools to co-manage quality-performance-power tradeoffs. Van will be developing components for analyzing and mining performance and power data (augmented with application-specific metadata) for simulations involving the parallel solution of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) during her appointment in Argonne. Van works in the High Performance Computing Tools Lab here in our computer science department that is headed by Professor Barbara Chapman.
